BEHIND THE BRAND...

Toga

Already established as a firm favourite with their ready-to-wear collections, the newest arrivals from Toga’s Pulla footwear line proved to be a massive hit, as we showcased the 3 piece line in our how to wear Toga Pulla feature. This was followed up by another drop of incredible clothing, from patterned dresses to bold jacquard knits, and much, much more.

COMING MID SEPTEMBER

MADEME

New York’s Mademe have been making waves for a while now, with Erin Magee  - the long time head of Product, Development, and more at Supreme - creating bold designs and working with a series of notable collaborators. There is so much we could say about them, but we couldn’t put it better than they do…

MadeMe is a peerless “by girls, for girls” brand originated in New York City in 2007. Since its inception, the label has evolved to represent the dynamic perspectives of today’s downtown youth.

In the early 90s, a powerful female-first ethos shaped music, clothing, and culture. MadeMe embodies this energy for a new generation. With each collection, the brand celebrates these counter-cultural style tribes and the pioneering women who led them. Whether taking cues from riot grrrls or ravers, MadeMe always communicates through ideas and interests.

See. Expect Mademe to drop early September.

A SHOE FOR ALL SEASONS

WINTER BOOTS

A pair of heavyweight boots are ideal for the winter, thick treads, tough leather and the occasional fleece lining make freezing mornings possible. But that doesn't mean that you can’t wear a pair of winter-inspired boots when it’s not minus-5 outside, the juxtaposition of weighty footwear with lighter clothing is a good one, and one that has stood the test of time.

PRINTED POWER

GRAPHIC Maximalism

For years graphic prints were almost solely reserved for logo callouts on t-shirts and sweaters, however that has started to shift over the years, and this season sees the use of graphic prints ramped up once again. From logos to abstract imagery, bold, vibrant graphic patterns adorn every conceivable kind of clothing; a far cry from the humble text logo on the chest of a cotton tee. Check out some prime examples from Perks & Mini, Sex Skateboards and Aries.
