Liz Colyar is an artist and designer fuelled by maximalist impulses which allow her ceramic surfaces to become a canvas for glaze exploration. Working in clay, she creates cups and mugs layered with glaze and cartoon imagery of rainbows, smiles, seduction, and psychedelic perspectives. Her functional work is peppered with a taste for novelty and the absurd.
