New Balance and Aimé Leon Dore are no strangers to a collaboration together. They’re linking up again to reintroduce a unique archival favourite: the Rainier boot. The silhouette was originally developed in 1982 after the student guides at the Mount Rainier climbing school had taken to wearing running shoes instead of traditional, heavyweight hiking boots. The Rainier was designed as a lightweight alternative that offered climbing and hiking specific performance. This re-release sees a suede and Cordura® nylon upper construction, GORE-TEX® throughout, and a Vibram® outsole.
- Suede Overlays
